Mid Glamorgan Area Adult Training Team

Mid Glamorgan Area Scout Council hold responsibility for all adult and young leader training within Mid Glamorgan (Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf Local Authority Areas).

The Area Adult Training Team provides all training and training advice to all learners in Mid Glamorgan.

The Scout Association Adult Training Scheme and Young Leader Training Schemes are both modular training schemes and are designed to give Adults and Young Leaders the knowledge, skills and experiences that will enable them to delivery an excellent and safe programme to the young people within their groups/units.

Training Courses are regularly held throughout the area covering all modules of the scheme, as well as First Response and Safeguarding training for new and existing leaders.
